Course Description
Evaluates new technologies, emerging trends, new standards and specifications in the Web development field by performing application of these in the Web site design/development process. Investigation and use of resources and tools for maintaining up-to- date skills in the field will be done. Self-directed learning skills will be developed.

Course Reflection
This course tested the limits of my skills by throwing new topics at me on a bi-weekly basis. A lot of these topics were on the advanced side, but I was given a lot of freedom on how to implement them. One of the difficulties I had was learning the best way to tackle and implement these topics on a website with a quick turnaround. Although it was challenging to keep up with the schedule it helped me understand how quickly things change in web development. This helped me understand that these types of things will happen in my career field and I will have to adapt to keep my websites current.
Moving forward in the web development field will be a constant learning process. This course has taught me that I need to be proactive with staying current with upcoming web trends, and make sure I am practicing proper implementation of new features. Throughout the semester, I have come across various resources such as websites, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube channels that I will be able to visit to learn about new features. Along with discovering these valuable resources, this class has got me in the habit of routinely checking my resources. Being able to analyze and implement new trends will help contribute to a successful career in web development.
Testing
I tested my website for compatibility with two different browsers Firefox and Google Chrome.
